What we collect from members
When you create an account we collect your name, email address and password (stored as a secure hash), the websites you add, and billing details needed to run your subscription. Card and PayPal details are handled by our payment processors and are not stored by us.
What our tracking code collects on your website
The tracking code you add to your website records page views and simple events: the page address, the referring site, campaign tags, browser, operating system and device type, an approximate country (when provided by the hosting network), time on page, scroll depth and click positions for heatmaps. It does not use cookies and does not store IP addresses. Visitors are counted with a one-way code that changes every day, so a visitor cannot be identified or followed across websites.
How we use it
We use this information only to provide the service: showing your reports, running the scans and monitors you turn on, sending alerts and weekly reports, and running your account. We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to operate: payment processors, email delivery and, for specific tools you use, Google (Safe Browsing and Search Console, only when you connect it) and the public Have I Been Pwned breach list.
Retention and your rights
Visit data is deleted automatically after the retention period shown in your dashboard. You can delete a website and all of its data, or close your account, at any time. Contact us to request a copy of your data.
